Center for Artificial Intelligence in Science and Engineering (ARTISAN)
The Center for Artificial Intelligence in Science and Engineering (ARTISAN) aims to accelerate advances in science and engineering by integrating cutting-edge artificial intelligence techniques. We are dedicated to fostering interdisciplinary research, cultivating the next generation of AI experts, and developing innovative solutions that address complex challenges in our world.
Center for Computer Algebra and AI for Mathematics
The Center for Computer Algebra and AI for Mathematics (CCAAIM) at Georgia Tech is dedicated to supporting foundational research in AI, automated reasoning tools such as SAT/SMT solvers, proof assistants, and computer algebra tools to tackle complex mathematical problems, produce verified math libraries, counterexamples, and mathematical objects.
Center for Computational Molecular Science and Technology
CCMST collects researchers from across campus who work on the development and application of molecular simulation theories, algorithms, and software, with applications to biomolecules and materials.
The Center for Scientific Software Engineering
Center for Scientific Software Engineering (CSSE), established in late 2021, is one of four centers under Schmidt Sciences’ Virtual Institute for Scientific Software. The other centers are located at Johns Hopkins University, the University of Cambridge, and the University of Washington. CSSE’s mission is to advance and support scientific research by applying modern software engineering practices, cutting-edge technologies, and modern tools to the development of scientific software both within and outside Georgia Tech. Additionally, CSSE is committed to engaging with students and researchers to train the next generation of software engineering leaders.
Partnership for an Advanced Computing Environment (PACE)
The Partnership for an Advanced Computing Environment (PACE) provides faculty participants a sustainable leading-edge high performance computing (HPC) infrastructure with technical support services. A collaboration between Georgia Tech faculty and the Office of Information Technology (OIT) focused on HPC, this partnership is made possible as part of a long-term commitment by Georgia Tech to create an exemplary environment to advance Georgia Tech’s leadership position in innovative research.
AI4Science
AI4Science is a College of Sciences-wide Center for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) in Sciences that fosters collaborations among faculty members across the college to drive innovation at the intersection of AI/ML and traditional scientific disciplines.
Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI)
The Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) is the nonprofit, applied research organization of the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech). GTRI is a designated University Affiliated Research Center (UARC) and leverages its science and engineering expertise, in collaboration with Georgia Tech, to enhance the impact of our collective research output.
Machine Learning Center (ML@GT)
Machine learning aims to produce machines that can learn from their experiences and make predictions based on those experiences and other data they have analyzed. The Machine Learning Center at Georgia Tech (ML@GT) is an Interdisciplinary Research Center that is both a home for thought leaders and practitioners and a training ground for the next generation of pioneers.
Tech AI
Tech AI is Georgia Tech’s engine for AI innovation and application. We connect the people who build, teach, and use AI to solve problems, strengthen industries, and serve people. Together, we make AI useful, responsible, and ready for the real world
